  1. Mashallah!
It is one of the best master piece you have written.
Well researched and very well calculated with much of eloquency. these five artciles can be present in response of any article of any journalist ever written.
    Great job kashif bhai…simply great

  2. Here are some more “reshadawania” of secular lobby for you Kashif mian…

“Sir, whether certain practices have any sanction divine or religious or not, and when any social reform is suggested which goes to destroy the usages and customs to which people are used and upon which they have looked as semi-religious usages and practices, it is always known all over the world that those people who have got deep sentiments, deep convictions, strong opinions, always resent, and they believe that it is destroying the very root of their social life or religion. Always the social reformer is face to face with this orthodox opinion…But are we to be dragged down by this section for whom we have respect, whose feeling we appreciate, whose sentiments we regard, -are we to be dragged down and are we to be prevented in the march of progress, in the name of humanity, I ask you?

But, Sir, I make bold to say that if my constituency is so backward as to disapprove of a measure like this then I say, the clearest duty on my part would be to say to my constituency, ‘You had better ask somebody else to represent you”…if we are going to allow ourselves to be influenced by the public opinion that can be created in the name of religion when we know that religion has nothing whatever to do with the matter, – I think we must have the courage to say, ‘No, we are not going to be frightened by that’.”

    Mahomed Ali Jinnah

  3. Answer

“We do not demand Pakistan simply to have a piece of land but we want a laboratory where we could experiment on Islamic principles.”(In 1946, Quaid-e-Azam Islamia College Peshawar)

“Pakistan only means freedom and independence but Muslims ideology, which has to be preserved which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure and which w hope, others will share with us.” (message to the frontier Muslim Students Federation (June 18th 1945),

QA“The vital contest in which we are engaged is not only for the material gain but also the very existence of the soul of Muslim nation, Hence I have said often that it is a matter of life and death to the Musalmans and is not a counter for bargaining.”
Predisential Address devlivered at the Special Pakistan Session of the Punjab Muslim Students Federation
    March 2, 1941

  4. You know most of your attributions to the Quaid are false or out of context.

I answered these statements in several of my articles. In any event the quotes you have posted cannot counter what Quaid’s speech above says… and it is actually directly related to the stupid Maulvi march that Jamaat-e-Islami and other enemies of Pakistan recently carried out.

  5. Good atricle!
So true! Dr. Pervaiz Hudboy is getting into nuts…I have listened so many stories of him from his colleagues..he seems to me a totally insane person…
however, there is no harm to expose the factors behind the defeat in 1971…hamari Pak Foj k karnamay samnay aanay chahiyayn! ..why not Pakistan Army can be exposed? and for how long we will give a cover to a defeated army by mentioning it in our textbooks that our army is the best 🙂

  6. http://www.secularjinnah.co.uk/
In 2005, Saleena Karim raised controversy when she proved that a famous quote of M.A. Jinnah used in Chief Justice Munir’s From Jinnah to Zia (1979) was a fake. In this much-anticipated sequel to Secular Jinnah, * the author provides an in-depth analysis of the ‘Munir quote’ and its extraordinary influence over those who argue for a ‘secular Jinnah’. Containing independent and original research spanning five years, her book presents a compelling case for a Jinnah who was neither a secularist, nor a religionist, nor even a product of secular-Islam synthesis. This comprehensive work includes discussions on:

    Jinnah’s ‘ideological’ conversion
    Iqbal’s intellectual influence
The real meaning of the Two-Nation Theory
The Lahore Resolution as a ‘deferred’ partition demand
    The Cabinet Mission Plan
    The Objectives Resolution of 1949
    Academic misconstruction of Jinnah

  7. saleena is merely a follower of Allama Parvez who was as big a liar as Maulana Maududi… though Kashifiat mian considers Allama Parvez a non-Muslim like the Ahmadis.

  8. Also the quote that Saleena says was a fake is there in the primary source documents.

  9. YLH,
Care to back your assertions with facts/ sourced-material? What primary documents are you talking about? Be a bit less vague in your responses, please.
